you should definitely follow your dream whatever it be…everyone dreams of being someone but only a few people actually make it come true…be one of them and make a place for yourself in a real elite class…and remember it will be very difficult and you will have to work hard…but just dont give up…all the best!

Never seen such amazing B&W pictures in my life before. Thanks for the inspiration Richard.

  11. r1ch4rd69 says:

they were shot digitally using a canon eos 450D in colour then converted to B&W.only the contrast was adjusted in most photos and the odd exposure.used to use Ilford FP4 film for B&W work.

what brand of film did you use for these shots? What is your favorite brand to use?

Awesome collection Richard, I really like the artistic approach you take in framing your shots, excellent work! I am also so happy to see someone who does not always follow the traditional approach to photography and is brave enough to bend (or break) the rules, and you certainly know when to do that, kudos for a job well done!

  23. r1ch4rd69 says:

thanks for taking the time to look at the shots, glad you enjoyed them.take care.

Enjoyed looking at your photos. You have somewhat good taste in subject and composition however… where you have decided to crop the majority of your pictures needs some study. Overly bright or dark spots/nuances can be quite distracting from either an intended or secondary (even a triadic) subject. Careful not to leave unresolved slivers of things. Either cut it heavily or not at all. Lastly, watch for subliminal eye lines (shapes or objects which automatically throw our eyes off of the shot)
